At age six Dion’s passion for magic begins. His enthusiasm brings him in contact with several magic clubs where he learns the skills of magic.
Meanwhile, he develops with help of his father his first magic act to participate in various magic competitions. With success, he won first prize at the National Youth Championships. In fact, he won this prize three years in a row and becomes known in the magic world.
In 2003, eleven years old at that time, Dion is invited to perform in various TV programs and gets the honor to open the World Championships of Magic.
A year later, Dion decides to compete at the Dutch National Championships of Magic. He wins first prize in the category manipulation art as youngest contestant ever. With this great accomplishment Dion made it into the national news program viewed by millions.
Due to the success Dion decides to further his career internationally and wins many awards of great importance. The Grand Prix in Belgium, the first prize Lary d'Or in France and once again the youngest prize winner ever at the World Championships of Magic in Stockholm (Sweden) with a third prize.
Dion starts performing more and more internationally for prestigious festivals, variety and TVshows like Mandrake d'Or and
Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde in Paris.
In 2006, Dion creates the much-discussed Tango act. He trains his act every day to get it perfect. The hard work is rewarded and in 2008 Dion is Grand Prix Winner at the Dutch National Championships of Magic. With this title he performs throughout Europe.
This year, Dion proudly became European Champion of Magic 2011!
